With their cage-like style, the Spanish burglar bar consists of vertical solid steel bars intersecting at various points with horizontal bars. These bars are suitable for all homes and businesses and are placed on the outside of the windows.
Spanish burglar bars are made a little larger than the window opening, and the top and bottom bars are bent towards the walls to create the cage-like effect. The actual window portion then protrudes outwards and away from the window, which allows you to leave your windows open and still have protection from intruders.

Every set of Spanish burglar bars is made to measure for your openings, hot dip galvanised against the coastal air and finished in a powder coat that holds its colour in the sun.

Spanish burglar bars offer you the following features.
Hot-dip galvanised with an 80-micron solution, through a 3-stage chemical wash, then a polyester powder coating.
The cage projects away from the opening so the window can stand open behind it.
As with the other burglar bars, you receive a 5-year guarantee on the materials and workmanship.
You send us an enquiry or call. We arrange a site visit, measure every opening and talk through the options. You get a written quote. Once you accept, we manufacture your Spanish burglar bars to your sizes and book an installation date with you.
One of the distinct advantages of Spanish burglar bars is that they need to be hacked or sawed off to break through them and that creates a noise factor which is not ideal for a burglar.
As with all our products our Spanish Bars enjoy the same 5-year guarantee covering all materials and workmanship.
Since these bars are placed on the outside they are hot-dipped galvanised (coated to an approximate thickness of 80 micron) and then put through a 5-stage chemical wash to ensure that the steel surfaces are smooth. They can then be hung as is or polyester powder coated in a colour that suits your premises. If powder coated, we again apply coating to a minimum of 80 micron to ensure longevity of the coating and that it doesn’t peel, flake or fade over time.
